Ace-It Pro Shop offers optional text messages that keep you posted on your order, like when it is being prepared and when it is ready. This page explains exactly how that program works. It is also our public record of how customers give consent, online and in person.
What we send
Informational order and service status messages only. We do not send marketing or promotional texts under this program. Examples of the messages we send:
- “Ace-It Pro Shop: Your bowling ball order is being prepared and we will update you when the next step is ready. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.”
- “Ace-It Pro Shop: Your pro shop order status has changed. Please visit the shop when notified or reply HELP for assistance. Reply STOP to opt out.”
- “Ace-It Pro Shop: Your bowling equipment service update is ready. We will text you when your order is complete. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.”
How you opt in
There are two ways to agree to order updates. We only text people who clearly say yes, and agreeing is never required to buy anything or use any of our services.
Option 1: Sign up online
Enter your name and mobile number and check the box. The box is never pre-checked, and we record the date, time and the exact wording you agreed to.
Option 2: Tell us at the shop (verbal consent)
When you place an order at our counter, our staff ask for your permission to text you about that order before any message is sent, using this wording:
“Would you like to receive order updates by text from Ace-It Pro Shop? Message and data rates may apply. You can reply HELP for assistance or STOP at any time to opt out. Do you agree?”
- We send texts only if you clearly agree. If you say no, or do not answer, we do not text you and your order is handled the same way.
- Staff record that you consented, along with the date and your phone number, in your order or point-of-sale record.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies by order. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan.
Stop or get help anytime
- Opt out: reply STOP to any message (STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT also work). You will get one confirmation and no more texts from us.
- Help: reply HELP, or email aceitps@gmail.com.
- Opt back in: tell us at the shop that you would like order updates again.
Your privacy
We use your mobile number only for the order updates described here. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Read the full Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.
